ShuttleBusCR allows two pieces of checked baggage and two carry-on pieces for each passenger. Surfboards and other equipment have a fee of $10.00 per route.
ShuttleBusCR will not be liable for lost baggage since, baggage is never removed from the passenger's presence, and is stored in the passenger compartment in which the passenger is riding. A passenger's baggage remains, at all times, the responsibility of the passenger.
ShuttleBusCR welcomes the opportunity to serve our "junior" passengers. Children two (2) years of age and younger travel free with a paying adult. If making an online reservation, please indicate the number of children traveling so that we can set a Baby seat, as Costa Rica law does not allow children to ride in the lap of an adult.
If your child is under the minimum age/weight standards set by the Costa Rica, you are required to supply an approved car seat for each child that the law applies to or ShuttleBusCR provides one for a feee of $3.00. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian traveling with the child to make sure that the child is in compliance with the Costa Rica Child Passenger Restraint Requirements.
If you just got off your ShuttleBusCR van, and you believe that you left something onboard, call ShuttleBussCR Dispatch office by dialing 506.2645 6336. We will attempt to intercept your van and try to find your missing articles.

The most common items left on our vans includes jackets and sweaters, cell phones, and small carry-on bags. Please check to see that you have all of your belongings before you get off your van.
At ShuttleBusCR, we understand about circumstances may arise which may change your trip plans. We do refund for any reservation cancelled 24 hours prior to the pick up time.
We will not refund payments if cancellation occurs with 23 hours of pick up time or no show without notifications.
We understand that flights may be delayed for different reasons. For San Jose Airport and Liberia Airport, we will wait up to 1 hour after the scheduled arrival time of the carrier, after 1 hour there is a fee of $3 per hour.
If you have the possibility to communicate us about your delay, please call us at 506+26456336 in order to be prepared for it.
Before any Airport Pick Up or Drop Off, ShuttleBusCR staff will check with the Airport´s website your arrival time in order to know your flight status. It can change without notice during the flight.
All shuttles are non smoking and air conditioned. The fleet of vehicles is primarily made up of vans with seating for up to 10 passengers, plus seating for the driver.
Reservations can be done 24 hours in advance. However, we highly recommend you to make your reservations in advance.
Tips are at the discretion of the passenger and according to the service they received.
